Hit Lake Pleasant Saturday/Sunday. WOW! The water was drawn down as low as I've ever seen it. Made the fishing tough, but I got to check out the structure and creek channel that is normally submerged and that will be helpful when the lake is full again. Caught a 3 to 4 pound channel cat Saturday morning while fishing for sunfish for flathead bait on my light weight spinning rig. Bent the rod right over and stripped off line several times before I was able to boat it. Great fun on light tackle. Saturday evening I caught a 5 to 6 pound channel on my designated channel cat rig. That was it, couldn't catch any sunfish for flatheads, and didn't catch any bass, though I had 2 strikes that I missed. Still an enjoyable fishing trip on the water in my boat Pooder Pie.
