The Salt river after it leaves Saguaro Lake dam, down to about Blue Point Bridge on the Bush Highway, is usually stocked during the winter months with trout by Az. Game and Fish. It also hold a lot of warm water species and native chubs and suckers. It can become quite crowded on weekends with people tubing down the river. Best fished during the week in cooler months.
