Rain was expected so I kept that in mind. About 5:00PM the clouds started building south of the lake, so we went back down near the marina to shelter near the store if the rain came. Fished in a small cove behind the marina where I caught 5 channel cats and Danny caught one. About 1:00 AM the first rain shower hit. We motored around the marina toward the store. Going past the covered slips in the marina I decided to shine my spot light down the slips and found an empty slip. I turned around and pulled into that covered slip just before the rain came down in sheets! It did that again 2 more times before dawn. We rode out the storms dry, warm, and safe. Felt badly for those out on the lake in that downpour!
