Blue ridge is an excellant lake, however it is almost impossible to fish it from the shore. You need a boat,float tube, or pontoon to fish it. The shoreline is almost inaccessable due to the high banks and canyon walls. There are also a few cutthroat trout in the lake. The access road to the lake turns east off of SR 87 north of Clints Well.
