Over the April 1/2 weekend my partner Danny and I took my boat up stream at Canyon Lake to the campground @ 1/3 of the way up lake from the boat launch and set up camp there. We started fishing by our camp site, which was right by the boat dock, and caught fish almost as fast as we could recast. We never moved the boat from that site until we packed up to go home the next day. This will be my camping and fishing spot the next time we head to Canyon Lake! Happy fishing!
