| I installed a tach on my outboard motor (1967 Evinrude Starflite 80) to monitor engine rpm and it is a real help in maintaining boat speed and especially helpful when warming up the motor after starting. I used a SunPro. Wire a tach thusly; Red wire to + battery terminal, black to - battery terminal, green to - terminal on the ignition coil, white to instrument lights. |
