These lures are called Li'l Dave after my friend who created the original Floating Li'l Dave (the top lure in the photos) out of yellow pine. I removed the hooks from the first Li'l Dave and made a mold of it, then I used pink denture acrylic ( I own a dental laboratory) in the mold to make the first Sinking Li'l Dave lure (the middle lure in the photo). Then I decided to use clear orthodontic acrylic to make the first Li'l Dave Ghost lure seen at the bottom of the photo.
These lures have a very wide darting action like nothing I've seen in any other lures.   |
