Here's a good way to reduce hangups when fishing rocky reefs and points. Draw the front ( and or middle) hook up to the belly of the crank bait by looping a small rubber band around a treble hook tine, then pass it through the split ring or hook hanger of the rear hook and then attach the rubber band free end to another tine of the front treble hook. Now the hook will ride tightly to the belly of the bait. Not perfect, but it will help!
