A couple years ago I started using frozen squid for channel cat bait. It is very tough and stays on the hook till you take it off, also has a strong scent, and it's hard for fish to steal it off the hook. I caught my pb channel cat last year on squid. Purchase frozen squid at any Asian supermarket. Happy fishing!
