| Last weekend we couldn't scare up any largemouths, but we hit a school of small striped bass Friday night and Saturday morning. They were holding at @ 35 foot depth. We baited # 4 and #2 hooks with cut strips of frozen squid. As soon as the bait reached the striper's depth, we got hits and boated fish. The frozen squid worked great as it is very tough and difficult for the stripers to steal off the hook. |
