I have posted before that my favorite channel cat bait is frozen squid as it is very tough and difficult for fish to steal off the hook. Now my fishing partner prefers cheese filled hot dogs, and he catches plenty of channel cats on them. I use a double hook rig on my channel cat rod and I'm going to start baiting one hook with squid and the other with cheesedogs as an experiment to see which bait the cats like better.
