Here's how I provide enough light to see to rig and tie baits on my boat at night without flooding the area with light. I bought 4 solar powered sidewalk/yard lights at Lowe's, the least expensive ones, about $4. I place them in rod holders after dark. These will also comply with federal regulation for anchor light.
